Daejeon, South Korea – 24 Aug, 2026 – The Daejeon Center for Creative Economy and Innovation (hereafter Daejeon Innovation Center) will hold an event in Daejeon from Tuesday, September 01 to Thursday, September 03

The “2026 Regional Startup Festival-linked Startup Korea Investment Week (SIW)” will be held around Daejeon Startup Park in Gung-dong, Yuseong-gu.

Now in its fourth year, SIW is the largest regional, neighborhood-based startup-to-investment meetup event in Korea, bringing together promising startups from across the country and domestic and international investors in one place to provide one-on-one investment consultations, IR pitching, networking, and more, creating opportunities for practical investment connections and collaboration. The core of the event is a pre-matched, one-on-one investment consultation program.

Participating startups can be pre-matched with interested investors and experts, allowing them to conduct direct IR sessions and consultations. 2026 SIW offers programs that support startups’ growth and expansion, including support for global market entry, exhibition booth operation, and recruitment linkage.

Last year’s event generated active exchanges and investment outcomes in the domestic and international startup ecosystems through more than 1,100 one-on-one consultations and numerous side programs. This event involves promising startups nationwide and it is expected to be Korea’s leading investment event that fosters mutual growth with local communities by bringing together domestic and international investors to achieve practical investment connections and strategic networking.
