heatNew Delhi, Thursday, April 24 – Mercury rises in the country creating a lot of troubles for the residents, who have to come out of the house to accomplish different domestic and official tasks. Early days in April were not as hot as they used to be in past few years due to extreme heat. Since several states observe mild rainfall for more than once in the first two weeks of the month, things were under control, however,  intensity of heat has intensified more than expected from past couple of days.

Days are getting hotter in the national capital and same is the story of many other states as well. Hospitals are witnessing several cases of heat strokes. Health experts advise people to stay inside household premises if it is not too urgent to get out of the home.

Exhaustion, dehydration, heat cramps, heat syncope, weakness in muscles, unconsciousness, unbearable headache, food poisoning, dizziness, high fever, fast heartbeat and lack of sweating are some of the common health issues during the summer season. The only way to stay away from such health problems is to avoid being in the direct sunlight for a long time.

School kids are hit hard by increasing temperature. Since most of the educational institutes are opened up till mid-May, students of nursery to higher classes are compelled to put up with the high temperature. Office goers are facing same sort of trouble, especially those who have to attend office in the day time via two-wheelers. People have to be careful of their own as a small negligence can cost much. Consumption of water in appropriate amount is must, doctors added further.
