No Plying of 10-Year-Old Diesel Vehicles in Delhi Now

carsNew Delhi, Wednesday, April 8 – Aging vehicles are the biggest source of causing pollution in the environment and this is the reason why the national green tribunal banned 10-year-old diesel vehicles from plying in the metropolis.

The decision could surprise many who have diesel cars at home to commute from one place to other but it is taken to see benefits in the long term. Pollutants in the atmosphere have let several people suffer from asthma, lung cancer, problem in breathing and congestion in chest.

Air pollution in Delhi has made it the worst polluted capital. To make life full of convenience, general public bought a number of cars and this is proved by rising sales of the automobile in the previous months.

Order has been passed to take diesel vehicles off the national capital’s streets. It might take some time for hundred percent implementation but this step is surely going to clean Delhi’s air. 15-year-old petrol cars are already banned in the city. Older vehicles are the major contributor in making air poisonous.

Untimely rainfall when lashed Delhi and NCR zones a week ago that helped pollution percent to dip. Still, this is not going to last for long and useful measures are needed to put into practice to lend a hand in making surroundings healthy.
