July 28
15:37 2014

rs 1New Delhi, Monday, July 28 – The official currency of the country lost its footing by 2 paise to tap 60.12 in opposition to the greenback in morning deal on the first working day of this new week at the Interbank Foreign Exchange on amplified demand for the US unit from importers.

Besides, potency of American currency in opposition to additional units out of the country too lied heavy on the Indian unit, even though an advanced start in the local stock markets limited losses, more than a few traders mentioned.

Not to forget that on offloading of the greenback by exporters, it had gone higher by 2 paise to finish at 60.10 in opposition to the dollar in a deal that was witnessed on July 28.
