heatNew Delhi, Thursday, July 10 – Despite witnessing rains in the first week of July, Delhi residents are facing the trauma due to scorching heat. Weathermen anticipated monsoon to hit the national capital by July 7, however, several regions of Delhi and NCR observed precipitation on 2nd and 3rd of the month. If current status of the climatic conditions is to be quoted then inhabitants would have to bear the attack of high temperature for some more days to come.

Even though sky is likely to be partly cloudy till Monday, but humidity will make them search for air conditioned rooms options as it would be a bit harder to survive in sticky weather. Power cuts are not too bothering at the present but voltage fluctuation is one of the common problems faced by population residing in different sectors.

In the midst of cloud, mercury is probable to stay somewhere in the range of 37 degree Celsius and 40 degree Celsius. A little respite is visible on Tuesday as there is a possibility of 20 percent rainfall but humidity factor of 47 percent will keep on making people sweat. Chances of storm are visible on July 17 as well and it is expected to last for more than a few hours. A good rainfall is what everyone is looking forward to since it is essential for desired production of the common and seasonal vegetables and directly related with inflation.

Prices of veggies have already gone up. Downpour can only boost the output as fresh stocks of onions and potatoes are probable to arrive in September. School kids are hit hard by the temperature and same is the situation of the office goers. Doctors advised residents to be watchful to some extent towards their health as quick rainfall followed by unbearable sunlight may make them suffer from cold & cough, soar throat, mild fever and loss of energy.
