Be Choosy for Eatables during Summer; Pick Right Stuffs to Get Rid of Unwanted Sickness

It is the period when hospitals and health care centres observe lots of patients complaining about several health ailments like indigestion, stomach ache, itching & swelling after bug bites, lyme disease, conjunctivitis, throbbing headache, unconsciousness, sunburn, heat stroke, allergic skin, nausea and dizziness.

These problems can get in the way of summer fun. If you wish for being far away from such common problems, then the first and foremost step is to be cautious over the food you are going to take in. One must not attempt of stepping out of the house without having their breakfasts. Skipping healthy snacks in the morning can alone give rise to quite a few issues, which might take more than probable time for complete curing.

Eat 10 percent less than your actual diet. If you eat 4 chapattis on a regular basis, then cut it down to 3 as our body system takes much time to properly digest food in the warmer days as compared to the winter season. Add seasonal fruits and vegetables in your lunch and dinner. Avoid green leafy veggies like spinach and lettuce during this time. If you can’t resist having them, then do not forget to wash them under fresh running water. Blanching is another suitable option for the same.

The basic difficulty with the human being is that they do not wish to spend hours to plan menus for the day and avoid visiting grocery stores frequently. Most of us even do not want to use up our quality time in the kitchen, which in result leaves us with the choice to endure dull, tasteless and bland food from sunup till late night.

Give your pantry a desired makeover, to add attraction in the cooking zone where you can cook and invent countless recipes with secret or fresh ingredients. Watermelon, beets, broccoli, celery, cucumbers, eggplant, green beans, barbequed onions, summer squash, zucchini, tomatoes and potatoes with topping of fresh grated cheese, salty yogurt &  dice green onion bulbs are some of the healthy items to consume when it is literally hot outside. Avoid having too much of oily of fried stuffs as excessive fat takes out nutrition value of cooked food.

Instead of eating too much of raw food, it is better to have liquid intake. There is no substitute for fresh water, so say no to aerated drinks and have at least 7 to 8 litres of water each day. Health is wealth; if you lose your attention towards your health, then it would be nearly impossible for you to achieve any goal. Overexposure to sunlight must be avoided if you dislike undergoing the pain caused due to extreme reddening of the skin. In case you suffer suntan, then apply cucumber juice on the affected area and leave it for 10 to 15 minutes. Magic of leading a happy life is in your hands. Realize your ability and spend summer with utmost cheerfulness, without falling ill.
